    Broker Spencer Scott is the Co-Owner of Home & Ranch Real Estate along with his wife Melinda Scott. Spencer obtained his real estate license in 1991 and his broker’s license in 2005. Home & Ranch Real Estate specializes in rural real estate including farms, ranches and raw land to in-town lofts, strip retail commercial properties, office and industrial buildings, airplane hangars as well as multifamily and single family residences – all properties you typically find in smaller rural town areas.

    Spencer’s background also includes over 21 years of experience in commercial structured real estate finance concentrating in Conduit Loan Securitization and all related mortgage origination processes. Spencer earned his MAP Certification as an approved FHA HUD underwriter. He has worked on a variety of project types including 223(f) market rate, 223(f) with Section 8, 223(f) with Section 236, 223(f) with Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) as well as Section 232 healthcare.

    Spencer’s home town is Caldwell where he attends Burleson County Cowboy Church. He currently teaches an adult bible class and has taught junior high and high school age youth in the past. Serving Burleson County, Broker Spencer Scott also participates in the local Rotary and Lions Clubs. He is a past board member of the Chamber of Commerce and past board member of the St. Joseph Health System as well. Spencer has also volunteered his time over the years helping coach numerous softball, baseball, basketball and soccer youth teams.
